And I’m not talking about the ones where you’re perfectly posed.
I mean the ones where they’re demanding that you read the same book every night, making you chase after them like a dog herding sheep, drooling all over the place, telling you knock knock jokes, throwing grapes and thinking it’s the funniest thing in the world.
I mean the moments where you look at your family, in all of it’s chaos and mess and loud laughs and love, and you wish you could remember it forever and ever.
Why I do this.
Maybe it’s cheesy, but hey, call me gouda - it all happens so fast! Sometimes it feels like you blinked and the cute gap in your kid’s teeth has been replaced by a full grown molar. I want to help you remember all of the good stuff - like the way your newborn balls those tiny fists up, or the way your son plays with his little sister (even if he swears he can’t stand her most days). When you look back on your photos, you should remember how hard your kids laughed at your jokes, how they loved to run around barefoot, and how it felt to be surrounded by your family.

Hi, I’m Trish.
I’m here to take photos, but more importantly, I’m here to make sure you have the best dang time! The idea of a camera in your face is scary, but what if I told you it doesn’t have to be? I don’t do the “stand over there and smile” thing - because that’s boring and photos look way better when you’re cheesin’ for real. There will be races across the beach, cookie dough eating parties, big bear hugs, gorgeous outdoor locations, cozy corners in your home… no matter how you decide to do your family photos, one thing that won’t change is that I’ll always let you be you. And don’t worry, I’ll help you loosen up - whether it takes me running around like a fool or a few specialty beverages.

Don’t worry, I’ll point out the best lighting and help you figure out where to put your hands, but the best photos happen when you’re loving on each other.
